With or without hood.
2 lengths.
Loose volume (between the sweater and the coat).
Lined or bias binding.
With or without bear’s or rabbit’s ears.

Sewing level:   Easy 

What you will practice with this sewing pattern : to sew a bias binding, to assemble a lining, raglan sleeves, a hood, and decorative ears.

Age range:  3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 years

Material suggestions:

• Main fabric
  knits : jersey, fleece, terry fabric
  wovens : thin denim, soft baby corduroy, flanel, soft woolen fabrics, PU coated woven fabric (to make a raincoat)

• Lining 
  fleece, jersey, poplin, fake fur, polar fleece

The needs are the same for the outer fabric and the lining.Depending on the pattern of the fabric, the hood can be cut in two different ways.NB : add 50cm of bias if you want bias binding at the bottom of the sleeves.
